Role responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases for software systems, enhancements, and new products.
- Lead QA processes across teams and mentor junior team members.
- Conduct sophisticated technical and program analysis to support testing decisions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Guide engineers developing solutions with low-code platforms and GitHub Copilot-based tools.
- Analyze and implement timely, cost-effective, quality solutions to issues within the role's scope.
Required qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on QA engineering and testing, including API, UI, scheduled job, and database test design and execution.
- 8+ years of enterprise system administration supporting technologies and databases subject to audit and regulatory oversight.
- 6+ years leading QA testing efforts, including test plans, test cases, and effort estimation.
- 5+ years with automated testing frameworks, workflow automation, cybersecurity applications, and team leadership.
- 5+ years supporting cybersecurity tools or applications, including IAM; 5+ years with Agile or Kanban practices.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and agile software development methods; strong analysis, communication, influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Cybersecurity platform experience with Zscaler, SailPoint Identity IQ, PING ID, HYPR, or related tools is preferred.
- Experience with Appian, Microsoft Power Platform, and GitHub Copilot-based tools is preferred.
- CISSP or SANS security certifications are preferred.
- A master's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity is preferred.
