Opportunity

Leads the Long/Short SMA Program Office and owns ongoing program strategy for a growing Separately Managed Accounts business.

Reports to the Managing Director of Investment Offers & Solutions and serves as the accountable leader for strategic direction and a multi-year, cross-functional program.

The role is listed for Lone Tree, Austin, Chicago, Westlake, Jersey City, Phoenix, or San Francisco.

Organization

Investment Offers & Solutions manages investment product marketplaces, including alternative investments, Separately Managed Accounts, mutual funds, and ETFs.

The Long/Short SMA business is expanding its strategies and establishing a formal multi-year program with dedicated leadership, cross-functional workstreams, and executive governance.

Strategy responsibilities

  • Frame the business’s growth ambition and monetization strategy and develop perspectives on competitive positioning and the product landscape.
  • Size opportunities and trade-offs, set priorities and sequencing, and translate cross-functional input into options, recommendations, and executive-ready materials.
  • Inform decisions at Steering Committee, senior governance forums, and Board level through analysis and clear narratives.

Program leadership

  • Orchestrate cross-functional workstreams, hold owners accountable to plans and milestones, own the integrated program plan, and surface risks and decisions.
  • Run program governance, chair the working group, curate Steering Committee materials, and manage escalations to senior governance forums.
  • Partner across Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Advisor Services to drive alignment and shared outcomes.
  • Build and manage a small program team, develop talent, and represent the program credibly before senior audiences.

Required experience

  • Proven strategy capabilities, ideally from management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic functions in complex financial-services organizations.
  • Strong analytical ability, structured problem-solving, and ability to turn ambiguity into a clear point of view.
  • Experience owning end-to-end strategic analysis, facilitation, and materials for senior executive and board-level decisions.
  • Experience in competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, monetization strategy, and business-case development.
  • Strong influencing skills and executive presence, with a record of driving alignment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within a broker-dealer or financial services organization.

Compensation

  • The listed annual pay range is USD $121,400 to $269,900.
  • The application deadline is October 17, 2026.
