Manager - Process, Technology & Sustainability

Role purpose

Process and plant leadership

• Improve process capability, efficiency, yield, quality, and equipment utilization through technical leadership to Production.
• Develop process integrity, plant safeguarding, and pressure-relief-device integrity strategies in coordination with Maintenance and EHS.
• Manage process safety reviews, Management of Change activities, and reviews of new or modified projects.
• Govern equipment operating parameters, technical limits, and engineering controls for safe, optimal operation.
• Drive reliability, availability, and efficiency improvements through monitoring and benchmarking.
• Endorse technical documents related to equipment operation, maintenance, process changes, projects, and vendor selection.
• Lead process optimization projects, production trials, troubleshooting, and technology deployment.

Sustainability and energy

• Identify and implement energy-efficiency, emissions-reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop an energy-efficiency strategy aligned with SEEC requirements and ISO 50001 principles.
• Manage energy targets, energy baselines, EnPI monitoring, and a Measurement and Verification framework.
• Lead ISO 50001 Energy Management System implementation and surveillance audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Prepare the annual Sustainability Report in line with corporate, regulatory, ESG, and EnMS reporting requirements.
• Establish and track the site decarbonization roadmap, integrating energy transition, emissions reduction, and process optimization.

Analytics and projects

• Manage plant-wide analytics, performance monitoring, and benchmarking programs, including Solomon and Philip Townsend studies.
• Plan and manage small- to medium-sized engineering and capital projects, including cost control and funding acquisition.
• Maintain technical engagement with technology licensors, SEEC, and other external stakeholders.
• Approve technical Non-Disclosure Agreements and protect proprietary and licensor technical information.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• More than 10 years of total experience.
• More than 4 years of progressive experience leading process, sustainability, and technology activities.
