Job Purpose
Lead the Corporate Communication function and implement internal and external communication plans aligned with hospital strategy.
Promote and protect the hospital's image and reputation through consistent, accurate institutional messaging and stakeholder engagement.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement hospital communication plans, programs, and initiatives.
- Manage internal and external communication activities and institutional messaging across channels.
- Oversee hospital and media content, including press releases, news, announcements, executive messages, presentations, reports, newsletters, and communication materials.
- Coordinate media inquiries, interviews, press releases, and media coverage under approved protocols.
- Protect the hospital's image and reputation and monitor media coverage and public communication.
- Coordinate digital, website, and social media content with relevant departments.
- Implement internal communications that build employee awareness and engagement.
- Prepare executive communications, speeches, talking points, presentations, and materials for major events and strategic initiatives.
- Validate information with hospital departments before publication.
- Develop crisis communication plans and coordinate responses during reputation-affecting incidents.
- Coordinate communication and media coverage for hospital events, conferences, campaigns, and official activities.
- Lead section employees, monitor performance, and support staff development.
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communication, Strategic Communication, Public Relations, Communication and Media, or a related field.
- Required: 9 years of experience.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Corporate Communication, Strategic Communication, Public Relations, Communication and Media, or a related field.
- Preferred: 7 years of experience.
- Preferred: SCMP or CMP professional certification.
Additional Duties
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities.
Promote a patient-centered care culture by respecting patients and their families.
Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
