Lead commercial, procurement, and contract management functions across a portfolio of high-value capital projects.
Support major infrastructure and development initiatives through commercial governance, value optimization, and contractual risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead procurement, tendering, and contract management for capital projects.
- Develop commercial, sourcing, and contracting strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage tender preparation, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract awards, and administration.
- Advise project teams, consultants, and senior stakeholders on contractual and commercial matters.
- Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and procurement risks across project lifecycles.
- Manage variations, claims, dispute resolution, and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Build stakeholder relationships; lead and mentor contracts professionals and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred experience and qualifications
- 9+ years in contracts, commercial management, and procurement within capital projects or related sectors.
- Experience managing complex, high-value projects from procurement through delivery.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Experience with FIDIC and other internationally recognized contract forms.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and engage senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
- MRICS, MCIPS, MSc Commercial Management, or equivalent is highly regarded.
