The Small and Medium Development Project Team delivers projects across Mayfair and Belgravia to generate rental income and development profit and support environmental objectives.
Responsibilities
- Learn to prepare construction specifications and contract documents, assess tenders, and undertake tender analysis.
- Learn project accounts and financial management, and prepare accounts for small and medium projects.
- Carry out basic property surveys and learn about 10-year Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Work within health and safety and statutory fire requirements and learn relevant construction and facilities management statutory requirements.
- Support surveys, project performance and financial reporting, and project and portfolio reporting.
- Support delivery of Major Works, Energy Saving Fund, and Small and Medium Development Project portfolios.
- Learn to establish client briefs, appoint and manage consultants and contractors, coordinate design development, and obtain planning or listed building consent.
- Learn project delivery through RIBA stages, including procurement, and support the Grosvenor Gateway Approval Process.
- Monitor onsite fabric, maintenance, and electrical projects and liaise with suppliers and tenants.
- Learn risk, programme, and cost management across projects.
Entry requirements
- Level 3 qualification, such as an apprenticeship, A Levels, or BTEC, or equivalent work experience, typically two years in a relevant role.
- Five GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
Desirable skills
- A genuine interest in a project management career with a property company is desirable.
- Team collaboration, problem solving, and strong written and verbal communication are desirable.
- Good IT skills and some Excel experience are desirable.
Working hours
- 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
