MAINTENANCE STORE KEEPER

Role purpose

Store operations and records

• Manage daily store operations and control materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Verify incoming quantities, specifications, condition, and documents against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Coordinate deliveries and material requirements with Procurement, project managers, engineers, supervisors, and suppliers.
• Maintain goods receipt notes, material receipt records, issue vouchers, return notes, and stock transfer records.
• Issue materials only against approved requests or authorized documents.
• Maintain ERP/system stock records and reconcile physical stock with system balances.
• Monitor stock levels and notify Procurement or management about shortages and replenishment needs.
• Label, arrange, and store materials by category and project; maintain project allocations and correct cost-center charging.

Tools, inventory, and safety

• Control issuance and returns of power tools, hand tools, machines, ladders, scaffolding accessories, and reusable equipment.
• Maintain tool registers and track damaged, lost, or unreturned tools and equipment.
• Store fit-out materials, including timber, plywood/MDF, laminates, hardware, paints, adhesives, gypsum materials, tiles, sanitary items, and electrical/MEP materials.
• Monitor expiry dates and storage requirements for paints, chemicals, adhesives, sealants, and other sensitive materials.
• Conduct physical stock counts and assist with monthly and annual inventory audits.
• Report slow-moving, damaged, excess, and obsolete materials; maintain housekeeping, safe stacking, clear access, and safe working conditions.
• Follow HSE, fire safety, PPE, and safe material-handling requirements.
• Record supplier returns, rejected and scrap materials, and transfers between projects or sites.
• Coordinate transport and timely dispatch; prevent materials or equipment leaving without authorization and documentation.
• Prepare stock and material-consumption reports and perform other assigned store, logistics, or project-support duties.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper or Store In-Charge, preferably in fit-out, interior decoration, construction, joinery, or MEP.
• UAE/GCC fit-out or construction experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of fit-out materials, tools, hardware, consumables, and construction materials.
• Experience with inventory management and ERP/store management systems.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Required skills

• Strong inventory and stock-control skills; knowledge of material documentation and record keeping.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy; good communication and coordination.
• Ability to identify common fit-out, joinery, MEP, and construction materials.
• Ability to work under pressure and support multiple ongoing projects.
• Strong organization, accountability, and time management.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and material-handling procedures.

• Work is in person.

Pay

• Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
