Responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce joinery and interior fit-out components to approved drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key responsibilities
- Operate CNC routers for cutting, drilling, routing, and engraving wood, MDF, plywood, and other approved materials.
- Read technical drawings, dimensions, and job specifications; load and verify programs, set tools and parameters, and conduct trial runs when required.
- Check materials and workpiece security; verify settings and inspect first pieces and finished components for accuracy, finish, and drawing compliance.
- Monitor machine performance and report faults, tool damage, or production defects to the supervisor.
- Optimize material use through cutting layouts and nesting, and coordinate with design and production teams to clarify drawings and meet schedules.
- Clean and lubricate machines, perform basic maintenance, and maintain production, material-use, and maintenance records.
- Follow workshop safety procedures, use PPE, check machine guards and dust extraction, and keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications and experience
- ITI, diploma, or relevant technical training in machine operation, woodworking, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of CNC operating experience in a joinery, furniture, or interior fit-out workshop.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
- Working knowledge of CNC controls, tooling, cutting parameters, and machine setup.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM and nesting software is an advantage.
- UAE joinery or fit-out experience is preferred.

Pay
- AED 2,800–3,500 per month.
