Logistics Manager
About This Role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. The role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, timely deliveries, and cost control across all logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain availability while minimizing excess stock
- Coordinate shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
- Oversee import and export activities, including documentation and customs processes
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations
- Track performance metrics such as delivery timelines and transportation costs
- Identify operational issues and implement timely solutions
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with logistics providers
- Work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to support business needs
- Supervise and support the logistics team, including performance monitoring
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and documentation
- Familiarity with ERP systems or logistics software
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG or food industry
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms
