We're looking for a seasoned Logistic and Freight Manager to lead and enhance our international supply chain operations.
This role is key to ensuring efficient, compliant and cost-effective movement of goods worldwide, while shaping logistics strategy and supporting business growth.
What You'Ll Do
- Lead and optimise global transportation across air, sea, road, and rail
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL partners
- Negotiate commercial terms to achieve strong service and cost outcomes
- Monitor logistics performance and implement continuous improvements
- Oversee end-to-end shipment processes, including documentation and customs
- Resolve operational challenges such as delays, damages, and clearance issues
- Develop and execute a global warehousing strategy
- Evaluate warehouse locations and oversee day-to-day operations
- Drive improvements through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Partner with internal teams to align logistics with business needs
- Own trade compliance processes and act as the key point of contact
- Maintain policies in line with international export control regulations
- Manage export licensing for controlled or dual-use goods
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance
- Stay up to date with global trade laws, sanctions, and regulations
- Deliver training and guidance on compliance best practices
- What you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in logistics or supply chain management (10+ years)
- Background in complex industries such as maritime, energy, or similar
- Proven leadership experience managing logistics teams and strategy
- Strong understanding of global transport, warehousing, and inventory principles
- Confidence in negotiation and contract management
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
- Experience working with logistics systems and technologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
