Logistics Manager (Construction)

Role Overview

Main Responsibilities

• Plan overall logistics and control the project's material-entry plan.
• Manage cross-border logistics, customs clearance, and local transportation.
• Control on-site yards, storage, material turnover, and finished-product protection.
• Schedule vehicles and support on-site construction transportation.
• Manage material loss, logistics costs, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate multiple parties, maintain documentation, and manage the logistics team.
• Ensure construction materials, components, and equipment arrive on time, in good quality, and in an orderly manner.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in logistics management, supply chain management, engineering management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• More than 6 years of engineering logistics management experience.
• More than 3 years of logistics management experience on large-scale airport or transport hub projects.

Professional Competence

• Proficiency in UAE import clearance processes, customs policies, tax-exempt declarations for engineering materials, and local logistics regulations.
• Ability to manage cross-border logistics operations end to end.
• Ability to plan material yards on large construction sites and solve bottlenecks, congestion, and material-entry delays.
• Strong logistics cost-control capability covering material loss and logistics time risk.

Certification and Skills

• Certifications in logistics management, supply chain management, or warehouse management are preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Ability to use office software, maintain records, prepare reports, and draft logistics plans is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting airport terminal projects in the UAE or Gulf region is preferred.
• Experience with large steel structures, irregular roof systems, and large-scale electromechanical equipment is preferred.

• Strong coordination, planning, execution, communication, on-site control, risk prevention, and resource coordination capabilities.
• Strong cost awareness, service awareness, and team management awareness.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 15,000 to AED 20,000 per month.
• Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience after the face-to-face interview.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Dubai.
