Lobby Lounge Supervisor

Position details

Lounge and guest operations

• Coordinate staff teamwork to ensure guest needs are met and service is effective.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire and address deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, prepare supplies, clean equipment and areas, and secure doors.
• Check storage organization, FIFO rotation, and cleanliness; complete inventories and requisition supplies.
• Monitor dining areas for seating, service, safety, and guest wellbeing; submit repair work orders.

Staff and service standards

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Model fair-treatment and open-door policies and serve as a first point of contact for related concerns.
• Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, maintain working relationships, and respond to employee concerns.
• Maintain quality standards and identify or implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• No license or certification is listed.

Physical aspects of the role

• The role may require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Tasks may involve narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs or service ramps, and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, or stooping.
