Job Overview
As a Listing Agent, you will work with property owners who want to sell their properties.
Your main responsibility is to help clients throughout the entire listing process, from evaluating the property and recommending the right selling price based on the market, to preparing and marketing the property through online platforms and other advertising channels.
You will be the main point of contact for sellers, provide regular updates, handle offers and negotiations, and guide clients until the sale is completed.
You will also ensure all required documents are completed correctly, coordinate with all parties involved in the transaction, build strong client relationships through excellent customer service, and stay updated with the local real estate market to provide accurate advice.
Property Evaluation
· Visit and assess properties to help determine the right selling price.
· Study the market, property condition, and location before recommending a listing price.
· Collect property details, history, and important selling points from the owner.
Listing Preparation
· Help property owners prepare their homes before listing.
· Suggest repairs, improvements, or staging if needed.
· Arrange professional photos, virtual tours, and other marketing materials.
Marketing
· Promote properties through online property portals, social media, and other advertising channels.
· Write clear and attractive property descriptions that highlight the property's best features.
Client Communication
· Be the main contact person for property owners.
· Keep clients updated on market activity, property viewings, and buyer feedback.
· Present offers, negotiate terms, and guide clients throughout the negotiation process.
Market Knowledge
· Stay updated with the local real estate market, property prices, and neighborhood trends.
· Provide clients with accurate market information to help them make informed decisions.
Transaction Support
· Make sure all required documents are completed correctly and submitted on time.
· Coordinate with buyers' agents, inspectors, appraisers, lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth transaction.
Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain good relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
· Respond quickly to client questions and concerns.
General Responsibilities
· Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements within your work area.
· Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent is required.
· A bachelor's degree in a related field is an advantage.
Experience
· 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer service.
· Good understanding of the local real estate market, property values, and neighborhoods.
· Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market practices is an advantage.
· Experience using CRM systems, sales tools, or real estate technology is a plus.
Skills
· Good communication and people skills.
· Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
· Customer-focused with a commitment to providing excellent service.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good organization and time management skills.
· Comfortable using technology and sales software.
· Able to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced sales environment.
