An Analyst in Risk Management and Compliance will assess liquidity risk implications across company operations and evaluate emerging risks to liquidity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units, Corporate Treasury, and other risk divisions to gather, understand, and analyze information about potential liquidity risk.
- Monitor United Kingdom legal entity balance sheets using limits and indicators to control and monitor regional balance sheets.
- Fulfill regulatory requests relating to liquidity and interest rate risk from a second-line risk management perspective.
- Participate in second-line review and challenge, including change management, user testing, data and controls review, and related matters.
- Analyze balance sheet changes to assess liquidity and interest rate risk impacts and provide an independent viewpoint.
- Monitor evolving short-term funding markets, evaluate emerging liquidity risks, and present findings to management.
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is specified.
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically, work independently, and form an independent viewpoint.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve management information aggregation through scalable technology solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in liquidity and/or interest rate risk management, including quantitative, financial, and risk management techniques and systems.
- Experience with Tableau, Visual Studio Code, Alteryx, and Python combined with strong artificial intelligence skills.
