Light Vehicle Training Instructor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical light vehicle driving lessons in accordance with academy standards and Qatar traffic regulations.
• Assess trainee performance and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
• Prepare trainees for driving tests and support them in achieving successful test results.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, and trainee progress updates.
• Ensure safe operation and proper use of training vehicles.
• Promote road safety awareness, defensive driving techniques, and responsible driving habits.
• Maintain a professional, disciplined, and customer-focused approach during all training sessions.
• Follow academy policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid home country driving license with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• Valid Qatar Manual Light Vehicle Training License (Driving Instructor License).
• Minimum High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate (Good Conduct Certificate).
• Good English communication skills.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
• Multilingual candidates are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving practices.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with trainees from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Driving Instructor, Driver Trainer, or similar role.
• Proven ability to coach learners and improve driving performance.
• Strong commitment to safety, discipline, and service excellence.
• Experience working in a driving school or driving academy is an advantage.

Education

• High School Certificate or Equivalent (Required)
