Overview

AlKhebra Driving Academy is seeking an experienced and motivated **Heavy Vehicles Training Supervisor** to lead and oversee our heavy vehicle training operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing instructors, ensuring training quality, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting trainees in achieving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Heavy Vehicle Driving Instructors.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of Heavy Vehicle Training Instructors through regular observations, assessments, and coaching.
  • Ensure instructors consistently follow academy training standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct instructor performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and development plans.
  • Monitor trainee progress, training quality, and overall training effectiveness.
  • Track and analyze instructor KPIs, trainee passing rates, and operational performance metrics.
  • Recommend performance-based incentives and bonus eligibility based on instructor KPIs, pass rates, attendance, compliance, and overall performance.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve training quality and increase trainee success rates.
  • Prepare and manage instructor schedules and training plans.
  • Conduct practical and theoretical assessments when required.
  • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Investigate and resolve training-related issues, incidents, and complaints.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure training vehicles and equipment are utilized safely, efficiently, and in accordance with academy standards.
  • Support the achievement of departmental targets related to quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and pass rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle driver training, transportation, driving schools, or related operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle driving regulations, road safety standards, and training methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching, and evaluating instructor performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple instructors and training schedules effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting systems.
  • Valid Qatar Driving License (Heavy Vehicle category preferred).
  • Arabic and English communication skills are an advantage.
  • Currently residing in Qatar is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a driving academy, vocational training center, or transportation training environment.
  • Experience managing large teams of driving instructors.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with Qatar driving test procedures and licensing requirements.
  • Additional certifications in training, coaching, transportation, road safety, or leadership.

Instructor Performance Bonus Program Oversight

  • The Heavy Vehicles Training Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating instructor performance against established KPIs, including:
  • Trainee passing rates.
  • Training quality and effectiveness.
  • Compliance with academy standards and procedures.
  • Attendance and punctuality.
  • Customer satisfaction and trainee feedback.
  • Productivity and operational performance.
  • Performance results will be reviewed periodically and used to support management decisions regarding instructor incentives, recognition programs, and performance improvement initiatives.
