The role supervises and coordinates lifting operations at construction project sites in Dubai.
A relevant LEEA qualification is requested.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate lifting operations at construction sites.
- Ensure lifting activities follow approved lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site engineers.
- Ensure lifting equipment and accessories are inspected and suitable for use.
- Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures and applicable safety requirements.
- Identify lifting hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Conduct toolbox talks and communicate safe lifting procedures to the site team.
- Maintain lifting operation records and related documentation.
- Stop unsafe lifting activities and report safety concerns to the relevant team.
Requirements
- A relevant LEEA qualification or certification related to lifting operations is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging practices, crane operations, and lifting plans.
- Understanding of risk assessments, method statements, and HSE requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Candidates must be currently available in the UAE.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Work location
- Work is in person at construction project sites.
