Role overview
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests at pools and recreational areas.
Promote a safe and enjoyable environment while upholding guest-care and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor guests in and around pools and recreational water areas to prevent accidents.
- Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies, including rescue and first aid.
- Inspect pool areas and equipment; educate guests on safety and usage guidelines.
- Maintain incident and safety-check records, and collaborate with recreation and security teams.
- Attend regular training and maintain required certifications.
Skills and experience
- Current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are required.
- Strong observation, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills are expected.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergencies is required.
- Prior lifeguard experience is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Commitment to a safe and welcoming environment is expected.
