Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Lifeguard for its lifeguard team.
Duties
- Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the pool area and respond immediately to emergencies.
- Provide emergency care and treatment until emergency medical services arrive.
- Perform limited maintenance and help clean the pool area to maintain a safe, clean facility.
- Deliver professional guest service, answer spa, wellness, and hotel questions, and proactively assist guests.
- Help maintain a smooth guest journey and act as a hotel ambassador.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, standards, and applicable Safe, Sound and Sustainable requirements.
- Attend required training and meetings; safeguard confidential information and comply with conduct and social media policies.
Candidate requirements
- Senior School qualification or equivalent is required.
- Lifesaving and lifeguarding certification recognized by the UAE is required.
- At least one year of lifeguard experience is required.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to understand guest needs, provide strong customer service with little input, and interact effectively with others is required.
- Previous five-star hotel experience and previous Middle East experience are advantageous, not required.
