Support lead engineers and management by completing aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved documentation, QCAA regulations, and company procedures.
Ensure safe flight, aircraft availability, and timely, high-quality scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Qatar Executive aircraft and manage inspections, defect priorities, staffing, materials, tooling, and required support.
- Resolve defects in compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards; report issues affecting aircraft and cabin serviceability.
- Release completed work to QE standards and targets for aircraft availability, reliability, and deferred defects.
- Review procedures and equipment, propose improvements, and resolve technical problems within scope.
- Support other departments, prepare maintenance work packages, and provide specialist support to QE Maintenance, QE CAMO, and Engineering.
- Travel at short notice to aircraft locations for troubleshooting and defect rectification.
- Guide and train technicians and mechanics; coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and suppliers to resolve problems.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent, diploma, or trade/vocational aircraft maintenance qualification.
- Minimum one full Qatar Executive main-fleet ICAO Type II, EASA Part 66 B1, or QCAA license and approvals.
- At least five years of job-related aircraft certifying experience and current EASA or TCCA Part 145 certifying authorization.
- Recognized corporate jet type-rating experience; a Qatar Executive aircraft type on the license is preferred.
- In-depth aircraft maintenance knowledge; sound decisions under pressure; ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to use technical manuals and documents; good written and spoken English.
