About the Role
Overlook Hamad International Airport's Orchard and all indoor plants maintenance activities, supporting outdoor landscape maintenance.
Continuously inspect the indoor landscape area and report defects, nutrient deficiencies, pests, diseases, and toxicity.
Recommend remedies and cures using the latest available market agrochemical products and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect and audit the Orchard and other indoor plants to ensure top healthy condition.
- Ensure optimum soil and plant relationship status for optimum fertilization efficiency.
- Conduct experimental and horticulturist tests to determine optimum inputs for healthier plants.
- Oversee incumbent contractors' activities and performance and ensure full implementation of the contractual SLA.
- Ensure all related Work Orders of the Airport asset management system are accomplished per project specs and standards.
- Monitor the performance of the irrigation network system and recommend adjustments.
- Report Airport Landscape status to the line manager with a detailed quality assurance process.
- Maintain continuous communication with the maintenance contractor and recommend resource adjustments.
- Ensure safety measures are applied among all incumbent contractors.
About You
- High School Qualification, Vocational Qualification, Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
- OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience.
- Landscape maintenance experience.
- Indoor plants maintenance experience.
- Landscape auditing experience.
- Horticultural related qualification preferred.
Essential Job Specific Skills
- Audit skills.
- Command of English language.
- Writing technical documents and procedures.
