Job Description

Contract Management

• Review legal provisions of standard contracts submitted by internal stakeholders
• Draft and review non-standard contracts, including the development of complex agreements from scratch
• Address queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual, legal, and compliance matters
• Maintain and update a database of contract templates and standard clauses

Digitalization and Change Management

• Stay up to date with developments in legal technology, compliance tools, and artificial intelligence
• Propose and lead digitalization initiatives in collaboration with relevant internal teams
• Drive change management efforts within the Legal and Compliance function

Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Governance

• Support regulatory compliance and corporate governance activities
• Conduct due diligence on customers, suppliers, and business partners; maintain records and documentation
• Develop and update compliance training materials; deliver training sessions as required
• Design and implement compliance reporting systems across departments

Legal Disputes and Case Management

• Coordinate with external debt collection agencies and maintain tracking of recovery efforts
• Provide regular reporting on debt recovery progress
• Proactively suggest credit risk mitigation measures (e.g., guarantees, security arrangements)
• Prepare cases for litigation and arbitration, including drafting legal correspondence and settlement agreements
• Liaise with external legal advisors to ensure effective case preparation
• Maintain trackers for disputes, legal costs, and case progress

Other Responsibilities

• Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to enhance contract and compliance processes
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and maintain proper documentation

• Timeliness and quality of contract drafting and review
• Standard contracts: within 1 working day
• Non-standard (simple): within 2 working days
• Complex/new contracts: up to 5 working days

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or highe
• rRelevant compliance certification is an advantag
• eMinimum 3 years of experience in a corporate legal environmen
• tProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/compliance system
• sStrong legal drafting and analytical skill
