Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal assistant to support our legal team in handling legal, corporate, and administrative matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers and legal consultants in preparing legal documents, contracts, agreements, notices, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research on UAE laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents and case files.
- Maintain and update legal records, databases, and document management systems.
- Coordinate with government authorities, courts, free zones, and regulatory bodies when required.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes of meetings, and legal reports.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal documents and filings.
- Assist with corporate matters, including company formation, licensing, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, external counsel, and government entities.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) or related legal qualification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of legal experience within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a law firm, legal consultancy, corporate legal department, or government-related legal environment.
- Familiarity with UAE corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
- Experience dealing with ADGM, DIFC, Mainland, and Free Zone regulations is an advantage.
