Role overview

The Lean Improvement Specialist improves operational workflows and leads continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and related operations.

Responsibilities

  • Map workflows and use operational data and on-site observations to identify cost and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead Lean improvement projects across logistics, warehousing, sorting, and transportation.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure financial and operational project outcomes.
  • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operational policies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and new processes.
  • Identify relevant industry trends and technologies to improve logistics operations.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
  • Good understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting operational data and measuring project results.
  • Ability to manage improvement initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, Lean production, or process improvement is a plus.

Language

  • Good spoken and written English skills are preferred.
