Key Responsibilities

• Ensure required documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time for timely shipment release.
• Review and organize commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with licensed customs brokers to complete customs declarations.
• Use Fasah, Bayan, and SABER to track declarations, approvals, duty and tax calculations, and release status.
• Verify HS codes, customs valuation, country of origin, and certification requirements for ZATCA and SASO compliance.
• Follow up on inspections, shipment holds, discrepancies, and missing documents.
• Coordinate import permits and approvals with SFDA, CITC, and GACA.
• Maintain customs records and reconcile clearance charges, duties, taxes, and invoices.
• Monitor Saudi customs regulation changes and support process improvements.

Requirements

• High school certificate or above.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant customs clearance coordination experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in freight forwarding, express courier, 3PL, or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with Saudi import/export clearance procedures, ZATCA and SASO requirements, HS classification, customs valuation, and country-of-origin rules.
• Hands-on experience or practical exposure to Fasah and Bayan.
• Familiarity with SABER conformity certification processes preferred.
• Fluent Arabic and good working proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, data reconciliation, and document management skills.
• Strong compliance and risk awareness.
• Must meet Saudi localisation (Nitaqat / Saudisation) requirements; Saudi nationals preferred.
