Design and implement a cloud-native liquidity risk management platform for JPMorgan Chase.
Build next-generation microservices-based applications using modern technologies and engineering practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Deliver cloud-native, microservices-based applications.
- Use domain modeling to structure software for clarity, testability, and evolution.
- Develop secure production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Automate recurring issue remediation and improve operational stability.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice.
- Investigate and resolve issues and keep technologies and patterns current.
- Design scalable solutions that avoid single points of failure.
- Build secure and reliable solutions supporting zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- At least 12 years of hands-on software engineering experience across design, development, testing, and operations.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js with microservices experience.
- For full-stack roles, proficiency in frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
- Ability to solve design and functionality challenges independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience working with AI agents.
- Experience with agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Understanding of application resiliency.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to share and contribute best practices for broader impact.
- Experience in the banking domain and AWS certification.
