Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud-native microservices applications for Chase UK mobile banking.
Participate in solution design, architecture, and all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Write reusable code, test applications, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve delivery outcomes.
Required qualifications
- Formal training or certification in JavaScript concepts with proficient advanced experience.
- Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ knowledge, including testable code and unit testing.
- Ability to work in an agile, geographically distributed team and address customer needs promptly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted development tools and validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in React and experience building React Native applications in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Native Android or iOS development using Kotlin or Swift.
- Understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with Detox, Appium, WebdriverIO, or Playwright.
- Modern web development, responsive design, performance optimization, design systems, and component libraries.
