Role Overview
Shape the experience of a banking mobile app through strong UX and UI design.
Translate complex financial data into clear, trustworthy, and easy-to-use interfaces.
Work within an established design system while extending it where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for native iOS and Android banking features.
- Balance UX research, user flows, and usability with visual design, interaction design, and micro-states.
- Extend the design system with new components and patterns where gaps exist.
- Design interfaces for transaction histories, statements, and multi-account dashboards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and legal teams on business and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct or contribute to user research and usability testing and iterate based on findings.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility, security, and compliance considerations.
- Prepare developer handoff specifications and support implementation through release.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.
Candidate Profile
- Strong UX and UI design craft is expected.
- The candidate should be comfortable working within an established design system.
- The candidate should be able to translate complex financial data into clear user experiences.
- Understanding of accessibility and banking-specific security and compliance considerations is expected.
