What you'll do
- Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS.
- Own backend development end to end, from design through production deployment.
- Contribute to React and TypeScript user interfaces as needed.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java development experience, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience, including ownership of deployments.
- AWS experience with EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch at minimum.
- Ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript.
Nice to have
- AWS certification is a plus.
- CI/CD pipeline experience, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions, is a plus.
- Financial services experience is a plus.
- Kafka or messaging queue exposure is a plus.

Compensation and benefits
- The source lists a salary range of USD 156,750–215,000 per year.
