Role overview

Azure infrastructure and delivery

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and Azure Active Directory.
• Plan and deliver cloud migrations, including workload assessments, resource planning, and application refactoring.
• Coordinate initiatives across teams and manage delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
• Monitor environments, analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and provide escalated technical support.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.

Security, leadership, and governance

• Implement and manage Intune, DLP, and CASB solutions for secure device management, data protection, and cloud application security.
• Maintain access controls, identity and access management, encryption, DLP policies, and CASB controls.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Lead and mentor Azure professionals, develop administration standards, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Work with vendors or third-party support and recommend improvements based on industry developments.

Experience and technical qualifications

• Extensive enterprise Azure experience with progressively increasing responsibilities is required.
• Proven senior stakeholder management and experience aligning technical initiatives with business objectives are required.
• Strong Azure design and implementation expertise across compute, networking, storage, security, and governance is required.
• Hands-on Intune, DLP, and CASB implementation experience and PowerShell scripting proficiency are required.
• Strong Azure security knowledge, including Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Identity Protection, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel, is required.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience is highly desirable.

Education and certifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
• Relevant Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Intune, DLP, or CASB certifications are highly desirable.
