Support the business by ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and packaging materials while maintaining quality and service standards.
Ensure contracts with local and overseas vendors are renewed on time.

Responsibilities
- Execute Central Purchase strategy, policies, systems, processes and metrics in the business unit.
- Set minimum order quantities and reorder levels for raw and packaging materials using lead times and consumption.
- Ensure call-ups of centrally contracted purchase orders align with production needs.
- Source and select suppliers and negotiate local purchases, including long-term contracts.
- Improve contract service and quality through proactive work with suppliers and manufacturing.
- Engage suppliers on ingredient new product development and recipe know-how.
- Support vendor development and material specifications initiatives.
- Develop employees reporting to the role and employees at the next level.
- Implement the Group's vision and values in the business.
Experience and qualifications
- 3–5 years of functional experience in a relevant industry or sector at a reputed company.
- A commensurate technical or functional qualification, plus a Management Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration specializing in Materials Management, SCM, Operations or Packaging Management from a reputed business school.
Performance measures
Key performance indicators include buying within budget prices, supply risk mitigation, working capital management and material availability.
