Establish shipment plans across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons to meet sales requirements while optimally using available resources.
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead inventory management and ensure stock availability according to company norms; execute FIFO stock movement.
- Control warehouse costs against budgets and deliver manpower efficiency improvements.
- Maintain controls over inbound and outbound transactions; prepare claims and reports for damaged or short products.
- Monitor inventory and arrange timely replenishment using the Inventory Management System.
- Support production and customer service teams in meeting business targets.
- Implement SOPs and develop warehouse strategies covering WMS, MHE, and capacity.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and practice company values.
Work experience and qualifications
- 5–8 years of warehouse or supply chain experience in food manufacturing companies.
- A degree in supply chain, commerce, business, engineering, or another relevant discipline is required.
- A master’s degree and/or supply chain-related certification is desirable.
Key performance indicators
Storage cost per ton; cycle count coverage and accuracy; inventory obsolescence; stock freshness; and monitoring of slow- and non-moving stock.
