Role overview

SAP implementation and configuration

• Lead configuration for greenfield or brownfield SAP S/4HANA implementations and change requests across localized manufacturing sites.
• Support PP manufacturing planning and execution, including discrete or repetitive manufacturing, MRP, capacity planning, and shop-floor execution.
• Work with APO, Kinaxis, or IBP supply-planning engines; configure MM inventory and purchasing, QM inspection and controls, and WM/eWM warehouse processes.
• Translate manufacturing bottlenecks into SAP standard configurations, RICEFW enhancements, and process optimizations.

Transformation and project delivery

• Lead site-level digital supply-chain transformation projects toward automated, cloud-enabled architectures.
• Collaborate with business champions on predictive analytics, end-to-end inventory visibility, and shorter S&OP planning cycles using SAP and Kinaxis.
• Direct cross-functional teams through Agile sprints, blueprinting workshops, fit-gap analyses, realization gates, and cutover execution.
• Lead systems analysts and provide site-level hypercare for SAP modules and Kinaxis interfaces.

Compliance and quality

• Author, review, and execute CSV protocols, including URS, functional specifications, and UAT scripts under GxP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 guidance.
• Maintain change control for custom SAP ABAP developments, transport requests, and Kinaxis workbook modifications.
• Ensure configurations pass software quality gates and support regulatory audits with precise technical documentation.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–9+ years of progressive experience in IT application management, business systems analysis, or enterprise consulting in manufacturing; the posting also lists 6–10 years under experience.
• Hands-on involvement in at least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Direct experience delivering validated software solutions in a regulated GxP environment, such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotech, CDMO, or medical devices.

Technical competencies

• Deep configuration and troubleshooting knowledge in at least three of APO/IBP, PP, MM, QM, and WM.
• Practical experience configuring and monitoring data pipelines using SAP BTP, CPI, IDOCs, APIs, and XML architectures.
• Expert alignment with Agile/Scrum, automated testing tools, and structured transport and release management policies.

Preferred certifications

• Preferred credentials include SAP S/4HANA architecture or Kinaxis Author specialization.
• Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Application Associate in S/4HANA PP, MM, or Enterprise Architecture; Kinaxis Certified Solution Author or Core Contributor; PMP, CAPM, or Certified ScrumMaster; and APICS CPIM or CSCP.
