Serve as a Staff Engineer supporting the ADT-CODI program within Operations Technology.
Lead technical design, development, and implementation of complex multi-platform application software solutions.
What Will You Do
- Design, develop, and oversee advanced technical solutions aligned with business objectives and best practices.
- Manage end-to-end technical delivery for complex software projects.
- Build generative AI frameworks, refine prompts, and implement generative AI systems in production.
- Lead development teams and provide technical direction to junior developers and team members.
- Translate strategic objectives into technical solutions with business stakeholders and product owners.
- Work with AI data scientists on data ingestion and feature engineering.
- Establish best practices and maintain technical documentation.
- Make decisions on complex issues and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Resolve complex software development problems and lead cross-functional collaboration.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Seven or more years of backend development experience in Java or Python.
- Strong backend experience with REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong React and modern frontend development experience, including micro-frontend architectures and reusable UI components.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts and LLM integrations.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and generative AI development tools.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and S3 Object Storage.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with spec-driven development.
- Experience in Camunda 8 development and customization.
- Experience with vector databases.
- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Strategic thinking and excellent interpersonal skills across functions and businesses.
Technical Environment
- Backend technologies include Java or Python, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Frontend technologies include React, modern frontend development, micro-frontends, and reusable UI components.
- AI technologies include Agentic AI, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and generative AI tools.
- Cloud and data technologies include OpenShift, Kubernetes, S3 Object Storage, and PostgreSQL.
