is hiring a highly experienced Lead Estimator to manage and lead the estimation and tendering activities for mid to large-scale industrial kitchen projects in Qatar and across the GCC.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in preparing cost estimates, technical-commercial proposals, BOQs, and tender submissions for commercial kitchen equipment, industrial kitchen supplies, and food service solutions for hotels, restaurants, hospitality developments, and large-scale F&B facilities.

The role requires a candidate with an engineering background, strong commercial awareness, and proven experience working with reputable industrial kitchen equipment providers in Qatar or the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial and commercial kitchen projects.
  • Review tender documents, project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for hotels, restaurants, hospitality projects, central kitchens, and F&B facilities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain pricing, technical details, and delivery timelines.
  • Analyze project scope, equipment schedules, kitchen layouts, specifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities during the estimation stage.
  • Work closely with the sales, design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate tender submissions.
  • Maintain updated pricing databases, supplier quotations, cost records, and historical project data.
  • Support negotiation activities with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure tender submissions are completed within deadlines and in line with company standards.
  • Provide technical clarification and commercial support during post-tender discussions.
  • Mentor and guide junior estimators, quantity surveyors, or tendering staff as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline.
  • Minimum
  • 8 years of total experience
  • in estimation, tendering, or commercial roles.
  • At least
  • 5 years of GCC experience
  • is required.
  • Proven experience in
  • industrial kitchen equipment, commercial kitchen supplies, or food service equipment projects
  • .
  • Previous experience working with reputable
  • industrial kitchen providers, kitchen equipment suppliers, or hospitality project contractors
  • in Qatar or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, stainless steel fabrication, MEP coordination, installation requirements, and hospitality project standards.
  • Experience handling mid to large-scale projects for hotels, restaurants, cloud kitchens, central kitchens, catering facilities, or hospitality developments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, kitchen layouts, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
  • Excellent knowledge of pricing, supplier coordination, cost analysis, and tender preparation.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, estimation tools, AutoCAD reading, and ERP/tendering systems is an advantage.
  • Candidates currently based in Qatar or GCC are preferred.

  • Currently working or previously worked with a major
  • industrial kitchen equipment provider in Qatar or GCC

  • Familiar with international brands and specifications used in hotel and restaurant kitchen projects.
  • Able to lead tenders independently from inquiry stage to final submission.
