Lead Engineer - Project Management
Role Overview
At Emerson, we are looking for a Lead Engineer - Project Management - to join our FLMC Global Sustaining Team.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectations.
You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, engage directly with customers, and drive successful project outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant project management experience for 6-8 Years minimum within industrial automation, manufacturing, engineering services, or comparable industries.
- Experience managing projects from initiation through implementation.
- Knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) stage-gate processes.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience in a global engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple functions.
