Lead and oversee electrical engineering for major Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards and applicable international codes.
The role requires strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering from FEED through detailed engineering in accordance with project requirements and client standards.
- Review, verify and approve EPC contractor deliverables, drawings, specifications and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications and international codes.
- Coordinate as PMC electrical focal point with the client, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, deliverable quality and schedule compliance.
- Guide and resolve technical issues concerning power distribution, electrical equipment and associated systems.
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews and technical bid evaluations.
- Oversee electrical engineering through procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 12 years of overall engineering experience, including 8 years in Oil & Gas and 5 years in a relevant electrical engineering role.
- Strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects in a Lead Electrical Engineer position.
- Experience on major EPC/PMC projects covering FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Saudi Aramco project experience is highly preferred, with good knowledge of its standards and specifications.
- Middle East project experience is preferred.
