Job purpose
Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and delivery of water-sourcing infrastructure for a major oil and gas development project.
Project delivery
- Lead alternative water-sourcing facilities from engineering through construction and handover.
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Manage well pads, surface facilities, pipelines, and associated electrical and instrumentation works.
- Coordinate interfaces with processing facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
Governance and leadership
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and HSSE requirements; identify risks, mitigation measures, and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage contractor selection, tendering, and contract execution.
- Support local-content initiatives, including recruitment and training; coordinate project team members for successful delivery.
Qualifications and experience
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience in oil and gas project execution, construction, or infrastructure development.
- Strong experience in civil works, well pads, pipelines, and electrical and instrumentation works.
- Proven experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of HDPE pipelines, project interfaces, and international contractor management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
Languages
- Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
