Lead digital business development and solution delivery within the Information Management and Disruptive Technology department, Solution Delivery division.

The role develops digital solutions aligned with organizational strategy and cultivates partnerships with technology vendors, platforms, and industry partners.
Development leadership and delivery
- Guide, mentor, and provide technical expertise to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Lead development project planning and delivery, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Drive architecture and technical approaches for scalable, reliable, high-performing solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, standards, and quality assurance.
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities and communicate progress and technical solutions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges.
- Maintain design documents, architectural diagrams, and code documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools and recommend adoption.
- Optimize code and infrastructure to address bottlenecks and improve performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect on platform alignment and business information and application architecture.
Solution group management
- Drive process optimization, tooling enhancements, and automation to improve development efficiency.
- Ensure department demands follow the intake process with a sound business case and planning foundation.
- Manage end-to-end delivery from solution design through delivery, operations, and maintenance, meeting quality, reliability, and deadline expectations.
- Lead the team by setting objectives, managing performance, developing staff, and providing feedback and appraisals.
- Review prioritized business, functional, and technical requirements and advise business analysts and relationship managers.
- Support innovation proofs of concept and trials and recommend research areas.
- Coordinate product issues and escalate them to the solution delivery manager when needed.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of product development experience, including 3 years in a managerial or relevant supervisory role.
- At least 5 full-cycle project implementations.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
Technical qualifications
- Hands-on experience in solution architectures, including cloud solution architecture; Azure is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in solution design and UML modeling.
- Knowledge of web, desktop, and mobile application platforms.
- Hands-on experience with waterfall, Agile, and DevOps SDLC methodologies.
- Experience in Java frameworks and senior-level SAP solutions: ABAP, PI/PO, ERP, NetWeaver, and SAP BPM.
- Hands-on experience with APIs (WS, RS), artificial intelligence, integration, and machine learning.
Languages
- English is mandatory.
- Arabic and French are preferred.
