Role purpose
Implement and operate IsDB collaboration solutions on-premise and in the cloud throughout their lifecycle, supporting secure communication and collaboration for internal and external stakeholders.
Platforms include email, calendars, messaging, social networking, conferencing, telephony, content and document management, task management, file storage, presence, and related security capabilities.
Platform operations and governance
- Design, deploy, administer, operate, monitor, and support collaboration platforms in line with policies, standards, business needs, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Maintain tools, processes, procedures, performance targets, security controls, service levels, and operational continuity.
- Coordinate vendor selection and supervise third-party implementation, operations, monitoring, and support services.
- Integrate collaboration components in alignment with enterprise and solution architecture.
- Maintain security roles and profiles and coordinate resolution of access issues.
- Manage handover from design and deployment into operations and support; apply change-management controls and quality assurance plans.
Resilience, incidents, and adoption
- Analyze performance and develop actions to tune platforms against SLAs and KPIs.
- Coordinate operational resiliency and disaster recovery configuration, implementation, and testing.
- Develop backup and recovery strategies and ensure backup operations and testing meet IT policy.
- Supervise incident monitoring and troubleshooting and coordinate implementation of information-security policies and controls.
- Support end-to-end procurement and maintain procedures for backup, security, monitoring, patching, releases, deployment, and change.
- Deliver communications and awareness campaigns to encourage effective platform use; report to management and stakeholders on plans, performance, SLAs, KPIs, incidents, and adoption.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a similar field.
- At least five years managing Microsoft 365-based collaboration solutions and platforms.
- Strong knowledge and experience in collaboration platform implementation and operations; IT service management; platform security roles, profiles, and controls; operational resilience; and third-party provider coordination.
Languages
- English is mandatory.
- Arabic and French are preferred.
Work location
- The role is based at IsDB headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Contract and grade
The stated contract type is fixed term; the job grade is E2.
