Role Overview
- As a Laundry Attendant at Banyan Tree Dubai, you are responsible for the efficient processing of hotel linen, guest laundry, and uniforms.
- You will ensure all items are cleaned, pressed, and handled with care in line with luxury hotel standards.
- You play an important role in maintaining the quality, hygiene, and presentation of all linen and garments used throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold hotel linen, guest laundry, and uniforms.
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions for different fabric types and cleaning requirements.
- Ensure all items are processed according to brand standards and schedules.
- Handle all fabrics with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Ensure proper stain treatment procedures are followed.
- Inspect items for cleanliness, damage, or repairs before and after processing.
- Ensure proper folding, packaging, and storage of clean items.
- Process guest laundry requests promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laundry work areas.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Use laundry chemicals and detergents safely and correctly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in laundry operations preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Basic understanding of laundry processes and fabric care is an advantage.
- Ability to operate laundry machines (training can be provided).
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment.
