The employer seeks a land surveyor for ongoing and upcoming high-rise building projects in the UAE.
The role oversees on-site surveying operations to maintain accurate measurements, alignment, and levels during construction.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and layout surveys for high-rise building projects.
- Verify and establish horizontal and vertical control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
- Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and contractors to interpret drawings and align survey data with project requirements.
- Supervise and guide junior surveyors and survey teams on site.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
- Maintain survey records and submit detailed reports and drawings; perform as-built surveys and prepare documentation.
- Use total stations, GPS, digital levels, and other modern surveying instruments; maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least eight years of land surveying experience, including at least three years on high-rise building projects; UAE experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, site safety, and survey standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying software such as Leica, Trimble, or Topcon.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid UAE driving licence is required.
Work location
- Work is in person on construction sites.
