KYC Middle Office Analyst in the KYC Operations team.
Reviews and improves data collection and verification so KYC records are accurate and complete.
Uses digital tools to streamline workflows and improve the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Address escalated service issues and maintain high customer-service standards.
- Support client onboarding and fulfill AML/KYC requirements, including compliance and risk assessment.
- Investigate AML typologies and produce accurate reports of findings.
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and verify legitimacy.
- Contact bankers and customers to obtain necessary information.
- Identify process improvements, increase operational efficiency, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Promote accountability and risk awareness while managing multiple priorities.
Required qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English are required.
- Strong research and analytical skills for analyzing large amounts of unstructured data.
- Client-focused customer-service skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus strong digital/AI literacy.
- Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- In-depth KYC/AML policy knowledge and experience in risk, audit, or process improvement.
- Ability to motivate and collaborate with teams using empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Experience with mainframe and PC-based systems, digital process automation, project management, or process improvement.
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
