Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain smooth workflow across kitchen sections.
- Manage, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff; prepare schedules and manage attendance, overtime, and manpower needs.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, stock levels, and wastage; coordinate with purchasing and store teams on supply availability.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
- Monitor kitchen equipment, cleanliness, maintenance, and proper use.
- Develop standard recipes, kitchen procedures, and operating guidelines; train staff and ensure policy adherence.
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Management to meet business targets and service standards.
- Identify ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance food quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or in a similar kitchen leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced F&B environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Experience in multi-brand restaurants or central kitchens is an advantage.
Compensation
- The posting lists pay of QAR 1–2 per month.
