Key responsibilities
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Maintain floors, surfaces, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and assist with plating and serving during events.
- Track stock levels, help manage supplies, and notify supervisors when items need ordering.
- Store food items and supplies properly.
- Set up and break down dining areas and assist with timely event service.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines; report hazards and equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications and physical requirements
- Previous catering or food-service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, communicate well, and work as part of a team.
- Flexible to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat and noise.
Pay
- AED 1,500–1,700 per month.
