Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Key Account Lead to build and maintain strong client relationships within the IT/technology sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and overseeing both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including techno-commercial engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new clients
  • Handle end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
  • Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals tailored to client requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
  • Oversee post-sales activities to ensure successful delivery, implementation, and client satisfaction
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting and forecasts
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the IT/technology sector
  • Strong experience working in the Qatar market (preferred)
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets
  • Solid understanding of pre-sales and post-sales processes
  • Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals and documentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong client relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Technical understanding of IT solutions, systems integration, or technology services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
