Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Key Account Lead to build and maintain strong client relationships within the IT/technology sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and overseeing both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including techno-commercial engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new clients
- Handle end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
- Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals tailored to client requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
- Oversee post-sales activities to ensure successful delivery, implementation, and client satisfaction
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting and forecasts
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the IT/technology sector
- Strong experience working in the Qatar market (preferred)
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets
- Solid understanding of pre-sales and post-sales processes
- Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals and documentation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong client relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Technical understanding of IT solutions, systems integration, or technology services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
