Junior AI Software Developer

About the role

What you'll do

• Develop code using an Agile development process; build new features and enhance existing products.
• Design and implement RESTful API services, primarily in Java.
• Design and implement agentic workflows and AI-driven agents using TypeScript and Nest.js; integrate with LLMs and use frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Collaborate across backend, frontend, and product teams.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices; participate in refactoring and continuous improvement.
• Solve problems involving large-scale data processing, distributed workloads, and intelligent orchestration.

What you'll bring

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java development and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations, including LLMs and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

Additional experience

• Experience with SQL, Linux, Git, and Maven.
• Agent orchestration patterns or workflow engines are nice to have.
• Exposure to prompt engineering and evaluation techniques is nice to have.
• Understanding of distributed systems or big data technologies such as Hadoop or Solr is nice to have.

Workplace

• The role is fully remote.

Compensation

• Expected annual compensation range is $65,000–$75,000; the final offer reflects experience, skills, and internal equity.
