Junior Accountant (Tagalog Speaker)
About This Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment follow-ups
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial transactions
- Assist in VAT calculations, filings, and compliance (if applicable)
- Monitor expenses and ensure alignment with company budgets
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and clarifications
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Tagalog speaker Required
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
- Understanding of VAT regulations (UAE experience preferred)
