About This Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage accounts receivable functions, daily accounting entries, and financial record maintenance. The role involves ensuring accurate posting, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, collections follow-up, and customer account management
- Perform daily accounting entries/posting in the system accurately
- Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and manage petty cash, including recording and verification of expenses
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records and transactions
- Perform vouching of invoices, bills, and supporting documents
- Assist in month-end closing activities
- Coordinate with internal teams for payment follow-ups and clarifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Basic Excel knowledge
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per hour
