About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage accounts receivable functions, daily accounting entries, and financial record maintenance.
The role involves ensuring accurate posting, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle **Accounts Receivable** activities including invoicing, collections follow-up, and customer account management
- Perform **daily accounting entries/posting** in the system accurately
- Conduct **bank reconciliations** on a regular basis and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and manage **petty cash**, including recording and verification of expenses
- Ensure proper **documentation and filing** of financial records and transactions
- Perform **vouching** of invoices, bills, and supporting documents
- Assist in month-end closing activities
- Coordinate with internal teams for payment follow-ups and clarifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per hour
