Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated **Accountant** with a minimum of **2 years of accounting experience** to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and management reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with audits and tax-related requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum **2 years of accounting experience**.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UAE accounting practices.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
